I found out I was a victim of these awful creatures a couple of weeks ago and since then I've been in a war to kill them. After getting a good recommendation from a pest control friend, I decided to buy the Saferest mattress encasements and box spring.
Based on my experience, I can share the following:
1- QUALITY: The quality is actually impressive. I washed them before putting them on my bed and they didn't' shrink or change a bit. I actually felt that the cotton terry on the top got even softer after the wash. The box spring is polyester all around, which makes them a little less expensive since you are not going to sleep on top of them anyway.
2- SIZES AND FIT: I purchased the 12-15 inches height mattress encasement and my mattress is 13 inches height. I was afraid that I was going to have a problem with the extra material, but for my surprise it was actually... Read more

This encasement is made of a stretchy fabric material, not the paper-thin material that most other encasements are made of. This is a very high quality encasement and I am very pleased with this purchase. Also, the zipper goes around 2 sides of the box spring, which made it very easy to put on by myself. SafeRest encasements are also more affordable than similar encasements of the same quality.

The sales person recommended me this brand over other brands that they carry because he said that this one had a micro zipper and a closing feature that prevented the zipper to accidentally open. The mattress and the box spring encasement are almost identical, the only difference is that the mattress encasement has cotton terry surface and the box spring doesn't, but the sales person explained to me that they do that to save you money since you won't sleep on top of the box spring anyway.
